Pit Reporting
With over 9 years of experience as a live Pit Reporter, Jacklyn has traveled across the nation covering a wide range of motorsports. Her work spans various racing series, including the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, as well as marquee events at iconic venues like North Wilkesboro Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. Reporting on hundreds of drivers annually, she covers approximately 40 racetracks each year, showcasing her dedication and expertise in the industry.
Hosting
Jacklyn is a versatile Event Host with experience spanning motorsport events, conferences, press conferences, commercials, and award ceremonies. Highlights include hosting the Everything in Sport conference, an international Castrol commercial, NASCAR National Series events (Cup, Xfinity, Trucks), Formula-E, MotorTrend, CARS Tour and a podcast for the Motor Racing Network with contributions to numerous other digital projects.
Booth Announcing
Stepping into the booth as a Play-by-Play Announcer and Color Commentator, Jacklyn has spent over three years delivering dynamic coverage, primarily at Bowman Gray Stadium. In 2023, she made history as the first female booth announcer for the CARS Tour broadcast on FloRacing, joining the small but growing group of women breaking barriers in motorsports broadcasting in the booth.
THIS IS MY STORY
Texas native and Sports Reporter, Jacklyn (Harris) Drake, was born with a passion for racing. Attending her first racetrack at the young age of 6 weeks old, Jacklyn grew up in a household of racers and spent 13 years behind a steering wheel competing in Go-Karts, Quarter Midgets, Legends, and asphalt Late Models nationwide.
After graduating college, Jacklyn relocated to Mooresville, North Carolina in 2013 – a hotbed for motorsports – where she embarked on a career in NASCAR that spans more than a decade. Over the course of 12 years, she has worked with Roush Yates Engines, CARS Tour, numerous Speedways, Racing America, Motor Racing Network, in all of NASCAR's racing series including Naional and Regional, FloRacing, Motortrend, Formula E and many others expanding her resume both as broadcaster, on-air personality and marketing professional.
In her free time, when she’s not working or fulfilling her role as the 2024 Miss for America, Jacklyn enjoys spending quality time with her dog Hoosier, visiting bookshops and exploring new restaurants.

In 2024, Jacklyn Drake embarked on an exciting new chapter by competing in her first-ever pageant, first earning the state title of Miss North Carolina for America. Her inspiring journey to show others to always "Be Brave" culminated on the national stage in Las Vegas, where she triumphed among top contenders from every state across the country to become Miss for America Strong 2024. This prestigious honor recognizes her as a national advocate for strength, resilience, and empowerment.
As the reigning national queen, Jacklyn passionately combines her philanthropic endeavors with her career by dedicating her time to volunteering, organizing book drives to support children in underserved communities, and inspiring others to boldly pursue their dreams.
